Weather was better and the fish are defiantly larger this year.
We caught Walleye - 6 inches up to and including a very nice 4#+ keeper.
It's just a lovely place to be
Fishing was outstanding this year with very larger fish and great weather.
Only bad fish we caught was 1 5# Dog fish. What a beast. caught it on an ultra light and had a great fight ! So even the bad fish was a good fish.
Large Mouth Bass where great. got a 5 Lb'er and a few-in the 2-3# range. They where hitting on buzz baits and bobber's.
Crappy where BIG ! got about 20 in the 1.5 and 2# range. even a 2.5# monster .
Just the best place on earth for a summer vacation.
We had another great week at Round bay.
ALL in all one of the best fishing trips we have had was this year .
Tossed back another 100 or so that in Illinois would have been nice keepers, but as they had larger ones biting we where able to pick only the largest to keep each day.
Go to Round Bay ! You will have a blast !

Norther pike where SLAMMING this trip. Caught ruffly 20+ with a few in the 3# 24inch range.
It is a family friendly resort. The people are friendly and helpful. Things to do include fishing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, biking,pickleball etc. There are plays and musicals within a few mile radius.
The highs last week where in the upper 70's and lows in the mid 50's.
